At Cowherd, we have been associated with the traditional Milk and Ghee business of Desi Gir Cow for the last 40 years from the three generations. And in the Gir area of Amreli and Junagadh districts of Saurashtra, Gujarat, which is the birthplace of Desi Gir Cow, we produce Pure Desi Gir Cow Ghee using traditional methods and have been selling Milk and Ghee with reliability.
In the Year 1984, Shri Jagjivanbhai Madhvani (1st Generation) collected Desi Gir Cow Milk from the villages and forest huts of Gir area and started selling it in Amreli and other talukas of the district. Due to his Ghee and Milk business, he was known by the nickname Jagubhai Gheewala.
In the Year 2006, Son Rajesh Jagjivanbhai Madhwani (2nd Generation) joined his Father’s business and gave a new direction to the traditional milk and ghee business. And started a Desi Cow Ghee B2B Brand namely “Aksharbrahm”, and expanded it to every area of Saurashtra and gained a reliable reputation. “Aksharbrahm” has its own Desi Gir Cow Cattle Farm with more than 5000 healthy indigenous cows at the Gir area of Amreli District. Through which, high quality Desi Gir Cow Milk and Ghee are produced in large quantities every day and are sold in India and around the world. Today, “Aksharbrahm” brand has crossed 25 crores turnover in a year and is planning to introduce new milk products.
In the Year 2024, Grandson Ashish Rajesh Madhwani (3nd Generation) joined his Grandfather’s business and and started a Desi Gir Cow Ghee Brand namely “Cowherd”, and the ‘Cowherd Premium A2 HDL Ghee’ has reached new heights by expanding across India in a very short period of time.
Cowherd Ghee is the Premium A2 HDL Cow Ghee, crafted using traditional Bilona methods from the milk of pure Desi Gir Cows. Cowherd Ghee is not just food; it’s a health elixir packed with nutrition, wellness, and divine taste. We strive for the good health of people through Cowherd Ghee, embracing the virtues of purity.
